italian weirdness

Pisa, outside the Campo dei Miracoli, is blessedly not a tourist town. So, in August, it was entirely shut down. Finding a place to eat was hard. I was almost tempted to use this machine, tucked into an alcove, which removes the microwave oven from the tv dinner equation. It's probably better than most Italian food outside of Italy. Still, one has to wonder: why?



So, I'm used to Japanese products with nonsense English on them. But the fad has spread to Italy:
