lisbon or san francisco?

you be the judge:

Hint: that lateen rig on the water is a traditional rig for a caravel.

The dutch maker of this globe, in 1645, has california as an island; it would have been easier to distinguish san francisco in that case, I think:

Who put the giant tower in Crissy field?

Who put that giant statue, of jesus getting ready for a dip, in the marin headlands?

Who put that giant concrete factory in the way of the sunset? Of course: the Economics professor and dictator. This would never happen in Marin.
